Warwick Racecourse set to offer family fun at 6th May Meeting

Warwick Racecourse is getting ready for their great Family Fun Day race meeting which is set to take place on 6th May which will include wonderful attractions including free children’s entertainment galore taking place in the Course Enclosure.

This is a Bank Holiday spectacular which is set to include kids face painting,a children’s fun bus,  bouncy castle as well as inflatable slide – and that is not all!

Also set to keep the kids amused will be a fun inflatable combat zone, a skateboard simulator and  land Zorb Balls.  Adults will be kept busy trying to pick the winners of the seven superb flat races throughout the afternoon.

However, the even better news is that a family ticket booked in advance for just £30, which includes entry for two adults and two children in both enclosures, also includes one serving of ice cream per child.

Huw Williams, general manager, Warwick Racecourse, said: “Children and adults alike will love our first dedicated family fun day of 2013 as it has something for everyone, whatever age they are.  The Course Enclosure will be at the heart of the action for the youngsters who can burn off their energy throughout the afternoon with plenty of entertainment just for them.  It’s also a great excuse for the adults to come racing and offers exceptional value for money, especially when booked in advance.”

The race action begins at 2.10pm with gates open two hours before. Tickets are also available on the day for both the Course and Main Enclosure, while children aged 17 and under get in free when accompanied by an adult.

“Horse racing is a great sporting spectacle and also the perfect way to spend some quality time with family and friends. Our Bank Holiday Fun Day is an ideal opportunity to introduce your family to the sport of kings and enjoy the first-class facilities at Warwick Racecourse,” added Huw.
