A brand new study from a top music sharing platform has taken a closer look at the songs Brits turn to most to get them in the mood, and particularly those who are trying to conceive. The result of this study is the ultimate playlist for baby making.
Those seeking to conceive now have a musical helping hand thanks to this playlist which has been compiled based on the results the platform received from a study they ran asking Brits about their musical tastes when they were getting in the mood for love.
The study, conducted by www.ShareMyPlaylists.com, asked 1,912 parents aged 18 and over from across the UK to share their experiences and preferences when it came to music to accompany their more intimate moments.
Those taking part were asked, ‘Did you listen to music whilst trying to conceive, during lovemaking?’ to which just over half, 55%, of the parents taking part said ‘yes’. Of these, three quarters, 77%, admitted that they did so in order to help them ‘get in the mood’.
These respondents were then asked to list the songs they most frequently listened to during lovemaking when trying to conceive, with the top 30 most commonly occurring songs listed below. Respondents were able to list multiple songs, based on the ones they listened to the most.
According to the results, the songs most frequently listened to by parents when trying to conceive, therefore the ‘ultimate baby-making playlist’, are as follows:

Kieron Donoghue, founder of ShareMyPlaylists.com, said the following:
“Music plays a huge part in every aspect of life, and it’s no surprise to see that Britons make full use of it in the bedroom department. We wanted to find out more about which songs get Brits in the mood the most, specifically when it comes to baby making, which can be a stressful time in the bedroom department for many. Based on the results, we’ve been able to put together what we see as the ‘ultimate baby making playlist’ to help broody couples around the country.
The songs are tried and tested by parents, so whilst we can’t guarantee the success they’ll encourage, we can guarantee that they’ll help get you in the mood!”
Broody couples can now listen to and download the ultimate baby-making playlist, created by ShareMyPlaylists.com based on the study’s findings below.
