The leading cookery school for children in the UK, Splat Cooking, are once again running their hugely successful Christmas cooking workshops, and with the economy being the way it is there has never been a better time to make your own edible gifts and Christmas goodies.
The cooking team at Splat is headed by Beverley Glock, the guru of children’s food, and they will be running their Christmas workshops for both children and adults at Silverstone and Princes Risborough. The adults classes are Christmas Cookies (Royal Icing) £75 12th December, Christmas Cake decorating £65 7th December, and Christmas Baking £65 on the 30th November and the 14th December.
Gingerbread Chalet Workshop £37.50 – aimed at 5 year olds upwards. The workshop takes place on 15 Dec from 3-5.30pm, gingerbread making and sugarpaste masterclass.
Edible Christmas Presents – aimed at 5 year olds upwards on 15 Dec and an adult workshop on 14 Dec. Homemade chocolates, chocolate bark, mini chocolate Christmas Puddings, fudge, truffles, lavender shortbread and lavender sugar or a Christmas muffin mix to give as presents. The workshops vary from 3-4 hours and prices start at £37.50 per child or £75 per adult.
