Johnny Depp immortalised by Lego in new Lone Ranger toy

Heartthrob actor Johnny Depp, generally considered to be one of the most talented and versatile actors of his generation, is to be immortalised in a new Lego toy as part of the collection they are releasing to tie in with the new Disney film The Lone Ranger.

The world famous toy company have creatured a miniature Johnny in his role as Tonto, the spirit warrior, in full costume including long hair, tribal paintwork and iconic headdress.

The buzz surrounding the toy is already massive as, let’s face it, who wouldn’t want a mini Johnny Depp you could pop into your pocket? The 6 new sets also feature some of the key scenes from the new film, due to be released on the 9th August, including the Colby City Showdown and the Constitution Train Chase.

From the filmmaking team behind the blockbuster Pirates of the Caribbean franchise, the film sees Native American soldier Tonto (Johnny Depp), recount the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer) a man of the law, into a masked hero who brings law to the lawless and justice to the wild West.

Taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises, the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

The Lone Ranger also stars Helena Bonham Carter (Red Harrington) and William Fichtner (Butch Cavendish) who too made the LEGO grade.

Johnny is the real toyboy actor though having been ‘Legoised’ once before for the Pirates of the Carribean movies.
