Embrace arts centre create shows for little ones

The arts centre at the University of Leicester is called Embrace Arts, and they are going to be hosting two incredible shows next month which are part of the Spark Children’s Arts Festival. The idea is that the show has been targeted towards young people who are aged between three and five years old.

The event is going to be taking place in early June and is going to feature the rather unusual show, Potato Needs a Bath. The event is very gentle and light-hearted and features real vegetables as well as live music. Performances takes place at 2:30 in the afternoon and tickets are on sale for £7 each.

The second show at Embrace Arts is a wonderful live musical journey for babies still finding their feet. The Presents (on Saturday 9 and Sunday 10 June) is ideal for babies aged 4-18 months old, specially crafted to complement their concentration span and eager eye contact.

With minimal speech and live music, this show by Reeling and Writhing is performed in an intimate space so everyone has a front-row seat. There are performances at 10am, 11.30am and 2pm both days. Tickets are just £7 or £25 for a party of four.

You can book online for both shows at www.embracearts.co.uk or by calling the box office on 252 2455.
