My daughter bought Gorgeous George and the Giant Geriatric Generator at his book signing in her school. She thought it was brilliant and just can’t wait until the next one comes out.

I didn’t quite approve of the bogies though but my husband thought it was funny.

I’m a teacher in a primary school near Edinburgh. This guy came to do a reading from his book – one word – Awesome!

He was hilarious and had the kids eating out the palm of his hand, as well as eating some sweety false teeth. Then the kids were throwing teeth at him. They loved it!

I took 5 pupils to an evening with Jeff Kinney (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and his presentation was dreadful campared to Stuart Reid – one to watch!

Both my sons (age 9 and 12 ) have read and loved this book especially the 9 year old who found the humour at just his level. He was also thrilled when the author visited his school for a book reading . We cant wait for the next book hope it is filled with just as many “bogies and burps ” !

So good to get a good old fashioned story teller telling good stories full of humour suitable for all ages

Makes a refreshing change being able to purchase a book knowing that the contents are suitable

I bought two copies of this book for my grandchildren at Xmas. Mr Reid was doing a book signing in Waterstones.

Both of them couldn’t put it down, it’s hilarious and very, very yucky. Jennifer said it was the funniest book she’s ever read (and she reads loads)

Ben loved it too, which is amazing because he hardly ever reads books. I think it was all the bums and bogies that made him laugh.

Thoroughly recommended
